Just a reminder that the NY Fisk Alumni Association will meet Saturday, October 8, 2011, at 11:30AM, at the Alpha House. At this meeting we will be packing up care packages for the area students. It’s not too late to purchase school supplies for the students. Contact donna penn (vp@nyfiskalumni.com) if you have any questions about the student care packages.

Monthly Meeting & NYFiskAA Elections May 14, 2011

NY Fisk Alumni;

It’s that time again. Time for Elections of Officers. Elections will take place Saturday, May 14, 2011, at the regular monthly meeting. This month the meeting will be held at the home of our current President, Karen Maynard. The meeting will start at 11:30AM and end at 1:30PM.

The Nominating Committee has the following Alumni on the slate:

President: Nominations will be taken from the floor
Vice President: Donna Penn
Corresponding Secretary: Judith Carol
Recording Secretary: Robbie Sellers
Treasurer: Jamillah Riddick

Nomination of officers will be accepted from the floor. Term of office is two (2) years. Karen Maynard will host the meeting with a continental breakfast. For meeting location and details please send an email to: NYFiskAA@aol.com

We made our goal. Your generosity helped us reach the $3.1M needed by March 31. The overwhelming response from our alumni, trustees and friends made it possible to not only meet our goal but surpass it with total giving of $3.5M.

College Music Program Fair – February 19th

The NYFAA would like to place a spotlight on an upcoming college music program fair on February 19, 2011. NYFAA has an opportunity for two alums to attend college fair. One volunteer is needed.
